 My story

I became a therapist because, during my own seasons of hardship, I had counselors who walked beside me, offering support and guidance. My greatest desire is to do the same for my clients—to help you navigate life’s challenges so you feel seen, heard, and empowered to come out stronger than before.

Hi there! My name is Adriana Dennick, and I am a California registered associate marriage and family therapist and associate professional clinical counselor practicing under the supervision of Ashley Hudson (LMFT #83507).

Where it all began...

To me, I believe that therapy is for everyone—not just those with a diagnosis, but anyone who wants to be heard, understood, and supported. Therapy is a powerful tool for growth, and I have seen firsthand how it helps people transform their lives. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, self-doubt, depression, relationship boundaries, or simply feeling stuck, you don’t have to navigate it alone.

I specialize in working with children, teens, and young adults, helping them manage anxiety (general, social, OCD, sports performance, test anxiety), depression, relationship challenges, and emotion regulation. As a therapist at Ashley Hudson Therapy, I strive to create a safe space where you feel comfortable being yourself. My approach is client-centered, meaning that our work together is built around your unique struggles, goals, and strengths. For younger clients, trust is everything. That’s why I prioritize building a strong, supportive relationship through empathy, validation, active listening, and encouragement.

I also believe that therapy is about equipping you with the skills and tools you need to navigate life’s challenges beyond the therapy room. My goal is not just to help you cope—but to empower you to thrive, build confidence, and create the life you want.

I earned my Master of Science in Counseling from Hope International University, a private Christian university where faith was integrated into the curriculum. If you are looking for faith-based counseling, I am happy to incorporate that into our sessions upon request. One of my favorite verses, Philippians 4:8-9, reminds us: "Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable…think about such things…and the God of peace will be with you."

HowI Help

OFFERING IN-PERSON & TELEHEALTH THERAPY

I understand that starting therapy can feel intimidating, and reaching out for help takes courage. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where you feel comfortable opening up—whether in person at my Yorba Linda office or from the comfort of your home through online therapy. I offer virtual sessions across California, making therapy more accessible, convenient, and stress-free—no commute, no traffic, just support when you need it. I’m here to make the process as smooth and comfortable as possible, so you can focus on what truly matters—your growth and healing.
